Harley-Davidson® Milwaukee-Eight™
The brand new Milwaukee-Eight™ engine from Harley-Davidson® is ready to drive the 2017 touring family into the future! This engine is built with completely new components, featuring four valves per head (hence the Milwaukee-Eight™ moniker), this engine is designed to give the heavy hitting touring motorcycles the power that riders crave. The increase is significant, with the Milwaukee-Eight™ providing an edge of over two bike lengths vs. comparable Twin Cam bikes in the run up from zero to sixty. The Milwaukee-Eight™ brings the power to the top end as well, with an advantage of over a bike length between the sixty and eighty mph range. Harley-Davidson® New Suspension
Harley-Davidson®’s touring bikes didn’t just get an engine upgrade. The entire touring family is now outfitted with a brand new suspension system front and back. Both the front and rear of these bikes now feature bigger pistons, which provide a more reliable dampening personality through the full length of suspension travel. The rear suspension now features simple, tool-free load adjustment via a pre-load knob. Now you can get your bike set for loaded saddlebags, or tweak your suspension when you drop off a passenger, all without ever needing to touch a single tool.
To ensure the suspension is as responsive as possible, Harley-Davidson® upgraded the front end with Showa® Dual Bending Valve technology to provide a full 117 mm of travel on standard bikes, and 98 mm of travel in lowered models (like the Ultra Limited Low®).
Harley-Davidson® 2017 Screamin' Eagle® Performance Upgrade Kits
The Harley-Davidson® Screamin' Eagle® Performance Upgrades kits have received an upgrade for the 2017 model year. The new line of Screamin' Eagle® Performance kits are compatible with a wide range of the model year 2017 bikes, so whether you’re looking to add a Stage I upgrade to your Dyna®, or beef up your SuperLow® with a Stage IV upgrade, you can! Don’t worry, older bikes aren’t left out of the new upgrades. Dyna®, Softail®, and Touring motorcycles from model-year 2007 and on are also compatible with the new line of upgrade kits, as well as Sportster® models from 2014 onwards.
